DAGUPAN CITY – For the first time, the city in cooperation with the Guardians Reform Advocacy for Cooperation and Economic Prosperity Incorporated is holding an Open Fly Kite Competition at Tondaligan Park as part of the 2018 Bangus Festival.
The event is scheduled to take place on April 29 at 1:00 in the afternoon near the Mayor’s Pavilion.
With the theme “Aim High Balon Dagupan” the competition will be held with a purpose and the proceeds will go to the rehabilitation and school facilities of the Calmay Day Care Center in Calmay Ilocano.
Interested competitors will pay a registration fee of P2,000 if they intend to compete in the different categories and P1,500 if they intend to compete in the different categories except in the dog fight category.
Winners will receive cash prize of from P3,000 to P50,000 on the different categories.
Dog fight winner will receive P50,000 and a trophy while the owner of the Most Beautiful Kite that will be declared as the champion will receive P10,000 and a trophy, first prize winner, P5,000 and a certificate; and second prize winner, P3,000 and a certificate.
