DAGUPAN CITY – The Beach Volleyball Republic will play in the city on February 25-26 as part of its nationwide tour to promote the development and growth of beach volleyball in the countryside.
Eight teams of men and women will face each other at the Tondaligan Blue Beach in games scheduled starting at 10:00 in the morning of Saturday and 7:00 in the morning of Sunday.
The following teams are coming for the games:
Men’s division– UST: KR Guzman and Krung Arbasto; ARMY – Randy Fallorina and Michael Reyes; AIRFORCE – Ranran Abdilla and Jeff Malabanan; FEU – Kevin Hadlocon and Jeremiah Barrica; UST2 – Romnick Rico and Ian Yee; ARMY 2 – Jason Uy and Joel Villonson; Louijei Tipgos and Calvin Sarte; and A/J Pareja/Henry Pecaña.
In the women’s division, the teams are BVR – Charo Soriano/ Bea Tan; BVR – Dzi Gervacio/Amy Ahomiro/Fille Cainglet; Amanda Villanueva/Rap Aguilar; Pocari – Mel Gohing/Elaine Kasilag; UST – Kassie Gormley/Jinggay Bangad; Jonafer San Pedro/Abegail Nuval; FEU – Marianna Calinawan/MJ Ebro; Army – Jem Gutierrez/Jeannie Delos.
The Beach Volleyball Republic organizes beach volleyball tournaments in different beaches and public places in the country with a grassroots development program for the young and aspiring players.
